Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Blync collects when you use blync.app and app.blync.app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name and country. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email.
- Business information you add: your business details and tax IDs, your clients and their contact details, invoices, quotes, expenses, and files you upload.
- Information from your clients: when a client uses an invoice or quote page, we collect what they submit, such as their name, email, the payment they report, any proof they attach, and whether they accept or decline a quote.
- Guest drafts: if you try Blync without an account, your drafts are linked to a cookie (blync_guest) that lasts 30 days, along with the campaign details of your first visit. When you sign up, those drafts move into your account.
- Website analytics: blync.app uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; until then Google Analytics runs without cookies. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
How we use it
- To draft invoices, quotes and expenses from what you type.
- To create PDFs, and send emails you ask us to send, such as invoices, quotes, receipts and the reminders you turn on.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and answer support requests.
Service providers
We use these providers to run Blync. They process data on our behalf to deliver the service:
- Anthropic: the AI model that reads your messages and drafts documents.
- Resend: delivers the emails Blync sends.
- Google Cloud: hosts our API and stores uploaded files.
- Neon: hosts our database.
- Upstash: rate-limiting counters for AI requests in the web app (keyed by account, not message content).
- Vercel: hosts the website and web app.
- Google Analytics: website analytics on blync.app.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing help@blync.app. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser; if you clear the guest cookie before signing up, unsaved guest drafts can't be recovered.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. Ask us and we will delete it, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
